At this time I am devoting my full attention to projects for Lincoln Loop and I'm not available for new projects. In the past, however, I've taken on consulting projects in my free time. Web Application Development

My primary focus is on web application development using Python and Javascript. I frequently use the Django web framework and the jQuery Javascript toolkit, and PostgreSQL is my preferred database server. I can handle all aspects of backend development, from inception to production. I can also implement complex Javascript interaction using asynchronous communication with the backend to increase interactivity and usability.

Site Performance

If your site is struggling under the load of your visitors, I can work to optimize the queries, code, and hosting structure to handle your traffic and be ready for more. Using tools like Memcached, Nginx, Gunicorn, uWSGI, database replication, and more I can revitalize your site and spread the work out to multiple server nodes for greater responsiveness.

Hosting & System Admin

I've been using Ubuntu Linux since 2005, and I also have experience with Solaris and AIX Unix. I can help you get your application up and running in production efficiently and keep it well maintained. I can assist with many common Web-related system administration tasks, such as establishing automated deployment processes or moving to a new hosting provider.

Site Analytics

Beyond just configuring the popular analytics tools like Google Analytics, I can develop comprehensive automated reporting leveraging your site's existing data models. Daily, weekly, or monthly reports can be automatically generated and sent to users or groups in spreadsheet form for easy review.
